Who we are

StreamSearch Up (streamsearchup.com) is a free streaming availability search tool built and operated by a solo creator. We help you find where to watch any movie or TV show across 200+ platforms in 68 countries — no account needed.

What we collect

We log two things in our own database:

Search terms — the movie or TV show titles you search for, stored without any connection to your identity. This helps us understand what content people are looking for and improve our search results.

Anonymous page visits — a randomly generated session ID (not linked to you personally), the page visited, and the referring URL (e.g. "came from Google"). This powers the visitor counter you see in the nav and helps us understand how the site is used.

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifiable information. There are no user accounts.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes. We do not build advertising profiles based on your usage. We do not use cookie consent banners because we do not use cookies ourselves.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party tools that operate under their own privacy policies and may set cookies:

Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to count site visitors and understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. which countries visitors come from, which pages are popular). Google collects this data under its own terms. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense — we display ads provided by Google AdSense to support the site. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. See Google's advertising policy.

Affiliate links — we include affiliate links to Audible and NordVPN. Clicking these takes you to their own sites, which have their own privacy policies. We earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.

Watchmode API — streaming availability data is provided by Watchmode. Search queries are sent to their API to retrieve results. See their privacy policy for details.

Cookies

StreamSearch Up itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies in your browser as described above. Most modern browsers allow you to control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

Anonymous search terms and page visit records may be kept indefinitely to support long-term trend analysis. No personal data is retained because none is collected.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. For data held by Google (Analytics or AdSense), please refer to Google's privacy controls at myaccount.google.com/privacy.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
